Yanji Mwense Mainsa is an Assistant Registrar at the Land Tribunal Court in Zambia. She is an advocate of the High Court of Zambia and Supreme Court of Zambia with 4 years’ post admission to the bar experience. She obtained her mediation certificate in 2016 following a training by the judiciary of Zambia. She advanced her mediation training with Edwards Mediation Academy in August 2022 and with ADR Center in October of the same year.
She has 7 years practicing experience mediating matters in several area of law including commercial law, contract law, family law, construction, employment and land matters. In addition, she is an arbitrator trained by the Charted Institute of Arbitrators, London, in 2016 where she obtained a Certificate in Introduction to Domestic Arbitration and in 2022, she qualified as a MCiarb after training in international arbitration in the same Instititute. She is thus international and locally affiliated.
She also holds a Certificate in Corporate Governance and the Law obtained from Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE). She is specialized in legal practice in private and public sector, regulatory policy and compliance, alternative dispute resolution civil, commercial land criminal litigation, corporate governance, contract negotiations and coveyancing with a track record. Currently Yanji is pursuing her masters in Fiancé and Finical Law at the University of London.
She is married and a proud mother of two children.
