Charles is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Certified Public Secretary, Certified Professional Mediator, and a lecturer at Egerton University’s School of Law. He is a seasoned consultant and legal scholar who has contributed scholarly articles and text on labour laws, fair trial and rights of the accused person, and criminal justice system.

He is currently a PhD student in law, specializing in international economic law. He holds a Master of Laws in Corporate Law and Finance (LLM) from Widener University, USA, a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and a Bachelor of Legal Laws (LLB) from the University of Nairobi. In addition, he has undertaken mediation training from the Mediation Training International, USA and international arbitration training from the Chartered Institute of International Arbitration (CIArb).

He is a managing partner at Getanda, Rabera and Associates. He is a member of the Rift Valley Law Society, where he once served as a council member, Law Society of Kenya, East African Law Society, and the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries.  Charles firmly believes in quality and professional excellence and in his spare time, he chairs a self-help group and enjoys reading.
