Dr. Mareri is a certified professional mediator, advanced professional mediator, certified chartered mediator, and mediation trainer. She is a founding member, and Secretary, of the Association of Nakuru Mediators and has been mediating both pro bono and for a fee since 2018. As a lecturer in Communication Studies, she is an active member of the International Association of Communication. Additionally, she is a theatre and film production enthusiast since childhood
