Session: Mediation as a transformative practice
Profile:Dr Sokfa John is the Programme Director for mediation practice at the Centre for Mediation in Africa (CMA), University of Pretoria, South Africa. He is co-lead for Southern Africa on the African Rotary Community Mediation (ARCoM) initiative, under Mediators Beyond Borders International (MBBI). Sokfa is both an academic and a peace mediator. He works on a range of conflict and peacemaking issues, but specializes in ethnic, religious and racial conflicts, digital conflicts, peace mediation, and conflict transformation.
