Nyakundi Justin Nyatete is is Senior Investigations Officer working with the Independent Policing Oversight Authority for the last five years based at IPOA Nakuru Regional Office. He conducts investigations on crimes that are committed by members of the National Police Service. He is a retired Police officer from the National Police Service (Kenya Police) in Kenya. He served for 14 years in the Police department. He is a student Egerton University pursuing Master’s Degree in Gender and Development Studies. Nyatete holds BA Degree Criminology and Security Studies (Forensic and Criminal Investigation) from Egerton University.
He is a Certified Professional Mediator trained with Mediation Training Institute of East Africa and has been practicing for the last ten years. He is
the Vice Organising Secretary of the ICMC Board. He is a founding member and Chairperson of the Association of Nakuru Mediators. He is the representative of mediator of Nakuru Law Courts and is among the first pioneers mediators to be accredited by Kenyan judiciary.
