Shairoz is the Chairperson of the Aga Khan National Conciliation and Arbitration Board for Kenya. She is a Professional Mediator recognised by Civil Mediation Council, UK (CMC), certified by International Mediation Institute (IMI) and accredited by Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI) and the Kenyan Judiciary as a Court Annexed Mediator.
She has over 10 years experience in Formal Mediation. Shairoz is a member of the Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB), Committee of Eminent Persons for Covid-19 Control, Advisory, Resource Mobilization and Socio-economic Recovery, in the 14 member counties around Lake Victoria. She has been honoured and awarded by iChange Nations (ICN) with the Women Add Value Recognition Award for community service touching on women and girls.
Shairoz is a masters graduate in Public Health from Boston University, USA, and holds an undergraduate in Biochemistry and Physiology from University of Reading, UK.
