Profile: Tat is a leading dispute resolution practitioner and international mediator based in Singapore. He is a founding partner of Aequitas Law LLP and Maxwell Mediators. He has extensive experience mediating cross-border commercial disputes and has mediated disputes in and arising in many parts of the world.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Distinguished Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators (IAM) and a Weinstein JAMS International Fellow. He is on the international panels of many distinguished mediation institutions and has been appointed to mediated cases administered by SMC, SIMC, VMC, AAA-ICDR, ICC, CAO, World Bank Group and UNFP. He is a 2022 and 2023 Who’sWhoLegal Global Elite Thought Leader.
He serves as a governor of the IAM, as the treasurer and board member of International Mediation Institute (IMI), as a board member of Singapore
Mediation Centre (SMC), as a committee member of IBA’s Mediation Committee Advisory Board and as chair of the Society of Mediation Professionals (Singapore).
